Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific course entitled “The Health Security and Society Project” for the period April 6–7, 2026.
The course aimed to promote health awareness among members of the university community and to introduce the concept of health security and its importance in safeguarding the well-being of individuals and society. It also highlighted preventive measures against diseases and encouraged the adoption of sound health behaviors.
Furthermore, the course addressed the role of educational institutions in supporting public health concepts and emphasized the importance of psychological counseling in enhancing health awareness. In addition, it provided practical guidance contributing to the establishment of a safe and healthy university environment.
