The College of Education for Humanities, in Cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, Organizes a Scientific Course Entitled “Fundamental Rules for Writing Master’s Theses – Qur’anic Sciences as a Model”

Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raoof, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, is organizing a scientific course entitled “Fundamental Rules for Writing Master’s Theses – Qur’anic Sciences as a Model,” to be held from 22 February 2026 to 1 March 2026.

The course aims to develop the skills of postgraduate students in the preparation and writing of Master’s theses in accordance with rigorous scientific and methodological standards, with particular emphasis on the specific nature of research in the field of Qur’anic Sciences. It focuses on topic selection, title formulation, problem statement construction, identification of research objectives, preparation of research proposals, and proper documentation of sources and references in line with recognized academic conventions.

Furthermore, the course seeks to enhance researchers’ commitment to academic integrity, prevent common methodological errors, and enable participants to effectively employ appropriate research methodologies in Qur’anic studies. This initiative contributes to advancing the quality of scholarly output and achieving excellence in academic research.

This course forms part of a series of scientific activities organized by the College in support of the advancement of scientific research and in its commitment to preparing researchers equipped with sound research tools and the capacity to make meaningful contributions to Qur’anic knowledge and Islamic studies.
