The College of Education for Humanities Commences the Construction of a Dedicated Building for Postgraduate Students and a Modern Administrative Building

As part of its developmental plans aimed at enhancing the academic and administrative environment, the College of Education for Humanities, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, has commenced the construction of a dedicated building for postgraduate students, in addition to a modern administrative building. This initiative comes within the framework of supporting the academic and administrative process and strengthening the College’s academic infrastructure, under the supervision of the Engineering Department of the University of Tikrit.

On Sunday, December 21, 2025, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, conducted a field visit to the project site, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adel Saleh Alawi, to review the initial stages of construction and monitor the progress of work in accordance with the approved engineering plans. Emphasis was placed on adherence to the established timelines and technical specifications.

This project comes in response to the requirements of academic expansion and the continuous increase in the number of postgraduate students, contributing to the provision of an appropriate educational and research environment. It also aims to enhance administrative performance and organize institutional work in line with approved engineering and technical standards.

The Deanship of the College affirmed that this project represents part of a strategic vision aimed at improving services provided to students, faculty members, and staff. It also reflects the College’s commitment to keeping pace with urban development and supporting the University of Tikrit’s orientation toward strengthening its infrastructure and achieving its academic and developmental goals.
