A Ministerial Committee Visits the College of Education for Humanities to Establish a Master’s Program in the Specialization of Teaching Methods of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education

A ministerial committee delegated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the College of Education for Humanities on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to complete the requirements for establishing a Master’s program in the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, specializing in Teaching Methods of Qur’anic Sciences.

The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Imad Hamid Ahmed, along with the Associate Deans, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aqeel Abdul-Majid, Head of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shakir, Head of the Postgraduate Studies Division, in addition to several faculty members of the department.

The committee conducted a field tour to review the material and human capabilities and to verify compliance with the requirements stipulated in the postgraduate studies regulations. The tour included visits to the college’s Smart Classroom, the Department of Qur’anic Sciences, and the classrooms designated for the Master’s program.

During their visit, the committee also inspected the college library and expressed their admiration for the wealth of academic resources available.
