The College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Scientific Seminar Entitled “Academic Stress and Low Motivation among University Students”

Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Psychological Counseling Unit at the College organized a scientific seminar entitled “Academic Stress and Low Motivation among University Students” on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the most prominent academic pressures faced by university students and to examine their impact on students’ motivation levels and academic achievement. It also addressed the psychological and educational factors associated with low motivation among students. Furthermore, the seminar presented a set of strategies and guidelines designed to help reduce academic stress and enhance motivation toward learning, thereby promoting psychological well-being and effective academic performance.
