Master’s Thesis at the College of Education for Humanities Examines the Impact of Climate Change on Minimum Temperatures and Frost Occurrence in Al-Hawija District

A Master’s thesis was defended at the College of Education for Humanities, Department of Geography, at University of Tikrit on Sunday (May 3, 2026), by the student Mustafa Saad Abdul-Jaf. The thesis was entitled:

“The Impact of Climate Change on Minimum Temperature and Frost Occurrence in Al-Hawija District.”

The study investigates the effects of climate change on minimum temperature patterns and the occurrence of frost in Al-Hawija District, with a focus on identifying climatic variations and their environmental and agricultural implications in the region.
