A PhD Dissertation at the College of Education for Humanities Examines “Ecolinguistic Study of Environment-Related Texts in the Bible and Prophetic Hadith”

A PhD dissertation was discussed at the College of Education for Humanities, Department of English, on Wednesday, 25/2/2026, entitled:

“Ecolinguistic Study of Environment-Related Texts in the Bible and Prophetic Hadith.”

The dissertation was submitted by the candidate, Taghreed Salim Ibrahim Al-Mawla, and addressed an ecolinguistic analysis of environment-related texts in the Bible and the Prophetic Hadith, exploring the linguistic representations of environmental concepts within religious discourse and their implications for ecological awareness.
